Dr. Zgaljardic received his Bachelors degree in Psychology from the State University of New York at Buffalo in 1997. He received his doctorate in Psychology with a specialization in Clinical Neuropsychology from the Graduate School and University Center - City University of New York in 2004. He completed a one-year pre-doctoral internship at Long Island Jewish Medical Center and a two-year post-doctoral fellowship at North Shore University Hospital, both in New York. In May 2008, Dr. Zgaljardic received his board certification in Clinical Neuropsychology from the American Board of Professional Psychologists (ABPP). In 2017 Dr. Zgaljardic was promoted to Clinical Program Director of TLC Galveston.
Dr. Zgaljardic has authored numerous peer-reviewed journal publications in the areas of brain injury, Parkinson's disease, Huntington's disease, emotion, and neuropsychological test reliability. Dr. Zgaljardic has several years of teaching experience as an adjunct professor and has given numerous research presentations at national and international conferences. In early 2007 Dr. Zgaljardic received an academic appointment as Assistant Clinical Professor in the School of Allied Health Sciences at University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. In 2010 Dr. Zgaljardic was elected as President of the Houston Neuropsychological Society (HNS).
