The Robert L. Moody Prize 2002 Recipient
During the third annual, invitational, Galveston Brain Injury Conference ,the Robert L. Moody Prize for Distinguished Initiatives in Brain Injury Research and Rehabilitation was presented to Dr. Jeffrey S. Kreutzer, a professor at Virginia Commonwealth University’s Medical College of Virginia campus in Richmond. A rehabilitation psychologist, Kreutzer emphasizes holistic rehabilitation, self-advocacy, long-term needs, employment, psychotherapy and family intervention, in his work with patients. He is co-editor-in-chief of two national journals, Brain Injury and NeuroRehabilitation. Kreutzer was a founding member of the Virginia Head Injury Foundation, and has been honored by the National Head Injury Foundation.
