The Robert L. Moody Prize 2002 Recipient

moody_2002_recipient.jpgDuring the third annual, invitational, Galveston Brain Injury Conference ,the Robert L. Moody Prize for Distinguished Initiatives in Brain Injury Research and Rehabilitation was presented to Dr. Jeffrey S. Kreutzer, a professor at Virginia Commonwealth University’s Medical College of Virginia campus in Richmond. A rehabilitation psychologist, Kreutzer emphasizes holistic rehabilitation, self-advocacy, long-term needs, employment, psychotherapy and family intervention, in his work with patients. He is co-editor-in-chief of two national journals, Brain Injury and NeuroRehabilitation. Kreutzer was a founding member of the Virginia Head Injury Foundation, and has been honored by the National Head Injury Foundation.
